 Thanks for visiting us on our website. Our story is ever growing. 

With a true “Fishmonger” at the helm, Express Foods is your "dock to door" fresh seafood supplier for the Ozarks. We bring the freshest, highest quality, best tasting, and sustainable seafood that our waters have to offer. 

The founder/owner/operator of Express Foods, Chris “417FishGuy” Perkins, has been working in the restaurant/food industry in every aspect for over 20 years and counting. He brings his passion and extensive knowledge of locally grown proteins, seafoods, food trends, and sustainability to the Ozarks. 
Chris traveled the country with his work in the food industry and ate his way through the states. Preferring to spend most of his free time in coastal areas near the water, where the culture revolves around the ocean and seafood. In the Fall of 2003, living in Springfield MO and downsized from his factory mechanic job,  he vacationed to Florida to visit a friend working on a shrimp boat. He himself then spent a short period of time working on the boat and learning the trade. He then began making regular trips to the Gulf Of Mexico to buy products off the boats and fisheries located there, and transporting truckloads back to Missouri and the surrounding area.  Establishing relationships with many boat captains, dock workers and fisherman all throughout the Gulf. 
What started out as a part-time hobby to supply his closest friends and family with fresh seafood and Cajun products unavailable locally, Express Foods has grown into the Ozarks longest running and most trusted fresh seafood supplier and catering company.
To this day, we have hauled fresh seafood and meats to 16 different states, selling to family, friends, the public, and restaurants. 

Express Foods now also works with wholesalers nationwide and fresh seafood suppliers in Alaska, Hawaii, Maryland, Maine, and Canada that ship to us directly via FedEx, UPS, Delta Cargo and refrigerated trucking. 

 

HOW TO ORDER

All product orders can be picked up by appointment at our warehouse. Please call, text, or submit your order and contact info and questions in the form on this website, email or any of our social media platforms. 
 All catering orders can be picked up by appointment at our commercial kitchen in Springfield. Please call for more details or check out our catering section on here.

We run 3 delivery trucks Mon-Sat within a 75 mile radius of Springfield. We will gladly deliver to your home, business or you can also meet one of our trucks on route to receive your order.
